Ralph is very busy, as you know, with a new job and new surroundings.

However, even if he were not, today - October 12TH - would not be ‘business as usual’.  Today is the 10th ‘Anniversary’ of a crime so senseless, violent and disturbing, that to this day support groups exist because of it.

The videos in the first comment explain it all, but it is not just about Matthew Shepard. 10 years later, every day virtually every minute, a person’s sexual preference is the reason they are harrassed, excluded, beaten…and yes, killed.

The Blog is a way for the Community to ‘get away’ and socialize and have fun - but sometimes, and rightfully so, it puts us smack into Reality.

I thank all the people that are my friends and that I work and play with on the Internet that encourage and support this rememberence, Ralph being one of the more supportive - and all the Bloggies who we respect so much that we feel empowered to use the Internet for the good of the Community.

On this day we ask you all, wherever you live and however you may be otherwise involved, to join together and to join with us in reflection - and most importantly to reinforce our resolve, as much as our power will effect…that these Hate Crimes happen…..

NEVER AGAIN

Today I woke up late because I was working at Johnny’s in For Lauderdale. I started training as a bartender there and I have to learn all the drinks. It’s a bit different than Montreal -  alot more bottles of alcohol and drink possibilities. It’s just a kick to learn them all so fast. I’ll manage and test it to see if I like it haha

If everything goes well and I like the job, I’ll be working there 5 shifts a week.  It should be a good winter break from Montreal.  I’m at work and starting in 15 minutes so I better go for now. I’ll be able to post pictures very soon. almost got my camera issue straightened out.

Yesterday was pretty cool at Parking, not a lot of people - most of the people that were there were the staff from Sky. I was happy to see them before my departure :D 

I had been busy and couldn’t really see everybody. I had a very nice flight, took 3 hours and I got here around 8:30 PM. I took a shower and did myself a little beauty mask haha Now I feel refreshed, clean and ready for bed. 

I’ll watch tv, read a book and fall asleep…Zzzzz….talk to you tomorrow XOXOX

Tonight is the last night for preparation !

I’m leaving to Florida tomorrow at 5 PM, but I have to be at the airport 2 hours ahead of time. Cleaning, bank stuff and packing are only a couple of things still to do out of a1000!

Tonight a lot of my friends from Sky are going out, so I’m going to go and say ‘hi’ before I leave tomorrow. I’m going to  meet everybody around 1 AM and  now it’s 11:15. I’m taking a quick go take a nap beforehand because I’m exhausted from this busy day.

I’m sure Florida will have plenty of opportunities to offer me and that I will meet very interesting people, wish me luck! Talk to you tomorrow or as soon as I get to Florida XOXOX

I just came back from Quebec City tonight at 5:30 PM. I left spur of the moment yesterday afternoon to go and see one of my friends before leaving to Florida. I took Allo Stop - which is a transport company - someone that brings you, and you share the costs of gas. The trip went very well.

I went out at Drag club last night haha. Now I’m back home and have to handle a couple of things before leaving.

Friday I went out to Unity, Sky, and Fusion bars and got a bit tipsy at Sky lol. It was a lot of fun Now I’m over at a friends, and will probably be heading home soon. talk to you tomorrow XOXOX

My internet got fixed and I’m so happy. It took 2 minutes. They had suspended it for unknown reasons, but now it’s all cool. It feels weird not to have internet access for 2-3 days.

I went to see the movie “Eagle Eye” and I have to say it’s pretty good! I had bought my tickets online beforehand so I didn’t have to wait when I got there. Aside from that, I had to buy some shampoo and stuff at the store, so I went downtown today.

It’s getting very cold here in Montreal unfortunately. Some of my friends are going out to club Parking tonight, but I think I’m just gonna hang around home.
